Our speech-language pathologist helps improve communication skills in a variety of areas. We use evidence-based techniques to help our clients achieve their goals and thrive in all environments. Areas Of Focus

Speech Sound Disorders
Difficulty with producing speech sounds or the phonological representation of speech sounds.

Executive
Functioning
Cognitive processes, including: attention, memory, inhibitory control, initiation, cognitive flexibility, and reasoning.

Language Disorders
Impaired comprehension of written or spoken language, and/or impaired ability to express meaning.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Use of alternative means of communication as a result of communication difficulties, including signs, communication boards, and speech generating devices.

Fluency Disorders
Interruptions in the flow of speech by repetitions, prolongations, blocks, atypical pauses, and/or omissions.

Social Communication Disorders
Difficulties with use of language for social purposes, including making friends, turn-taking, problem solving, understanding emotions, and nonverbal communication.
